I love these things and I need a place to catalog them all, so i'll be posting photos from my recent disposable cameras on here over the next week.

Hoh Rain Forest

I recently did a photoshoot in the Hoh Rain Forest, which is fucking magical! We found a secluded trail off the main road so we didn't have to pay the $15 reservation fee for the day. If you're ever in washington, i'd reccomend taking a hike through the hoh, and hey... if you're into twilight (which I am not) it's super close to Forks... (they should have been known for their $1 tacos.)

Brixton

Awhile back I received some awesome hats and shirts from the PR department of a hat company called Brixton, in California. I'm not a huge hat person but I think I am gaining quite the collection! ( I always buy them when I go to thrift/vintage stores.) Anyway, I've been taking numerous photographs of the hats for the company, and here are some of the images I've come up with so far:

Dollhouse

I recently did a shoot for Ink magazine, and it was a lovely shoot! I worked with an amazing ballet dancer and artist named Ashleigh Miller, as well as two of my good friends Sarah Nash, and Rachel Horsfall. 

For the shoot I had some fun making props:

 

Themed parties at age 16

I went to sort of an alice in wonderland themed tea birthday party today for my friend's sweet 16, and it was so cute! I think the best part though was the fact that she had a fake "dead fetus" taped to a stick to beat the pinata open with. 

I had some fun with my outfit, attempting to be a mad hatter of sorts:

 

Shut Up Dream Crusher

So I did a photoshoot with a local musician today, Her name is Saskia of Shut Up Dream Crusher. She brought along two amazing costumes she'd created herself and it really inspired me! Alongside the costumes she talked about how she wanted to create a collective warehouse in seattle that will be filled with props that around 100 artists give away for everyone to borrow and use for projects. I thought this was a great idea and maybe one day I'll do this in New york or something! 

So here is Vladimir the polar bear (sorry for the bad phone picture):

Saskia used to perform as him on the streets of seattle in  Pike Place Market. 

And here is a wolf suit she made out of paper and duct tape! I think it's really amazing:

I'm definitely going to start making some paper props and costumes for photoshoots!
